Day 2 : Club Maid

Haha heLLo everyOne!! apa khabar semua.. harap khabar suma baik! =)

I've arrived at club med a few days ago, and this is my second day of work, or should i say slavery.
Before I tell you bout what im doing, lemme tell you bout the living condition here.

Living condition.
1. The room is 10x15 feet, all made out of wood. Its like a big wooden apartment but only has two floors. There are 2 person in a room, however, since all of us want to stick together, we have 4 person in a room. so 10x15 feet room with 4 people and loads of bags = not very eco friendly. But nvm la, the more the merrier and smellier.

2. Theres an air-con in our room. However theres no remote control for it, and to on it.. we hav to open it and does not require any power supply. This new technology is called 'Window'.

3.The food here is awesome. We eat rice, long beans, vege, dates, fish, chicken, soup, rice, longbeans, vege, dates, fish, chicken, soup, rice, vege, dates,
fish, chicken, soup, rice, longbeans, vege, fish, chicken, soup, rice, vege, dates, fish, chicken and sambal everyday for the next 3 months. Lots of variety ritey!? haha pray for us.

4.The toilets...im not sure what is the door for when theres no lock for it. And even there is a lock for it, the door will be full of holes. But not to worry, the ppl over here has cellotaped the holes.. with transparent cellotape, quite smart eh? -_-'' aduh

5. There are more monkeys than cats here. Im sharing a room with 3 monkeys too.

6. The ppl over here are friendly, mostly locals and Indons..so i speak BM everyday haha

7. Mosquitos are the size of 5 sen coins..so its easier to see and whack it, but bigger marks if bitten hahahahha looks like i've got a new hobby.

8. The signal here is horrible. Its a luxury to even get 1 bar of signal.

9. We're trying our best to live here.

Working conditions

1. Club Med shud change their name to Club Maid. The workers work endlessly, carry plates and glasses here and there and everywhere, to make the guests happy.

2. Im working in the restaurant for 3 weeks, and the kitchen only after that. We carry around 50+ plates and bowls and cups on tray on our shoulders. My right shoulder is going to be bigger than my left soon. =)

3. work 8 hours a day with weird shifts, 7 days a week.

4. We're not allowed to eat anything from the buffet lines. However, some 'workers' curi makan. Puasa summore boleh makan, aduh. Cant blame them tho, this job requires loads of energy.

5. we have 2 shirts each. we're suppose to wear one for 3 days.. then oni wash. So we're trying to keep it clean for 9 services.

6. I shall stop now.

Haha, i will upload the pictures as soon as they give me a day off. I gtg wash my clothes and take a nap, nite shift starts in a few hours. Cya all later! =) God bless.
